How to Measure Your Finger for a Ring at Home

Take a thin strip of paper, string, or ribbon.
Wrap it comfortably around the affected joint.
Mark the point where the ends meet.
Lay it flat and measure the length in millimeters with a ruler.
Compare the measurement to a ring size chart to find your size.

Helpful Tips
Measure your finger at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
Avoid measuring when your hands are cold.
If your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a comfortable middle size.

For the most accurate result, measure 2–3 times.
For the good fit better use a special ring sizer.
